The classroom durable air powered rocket launcher has been utilized by educators for years. We were introduced to it by at a workshop by the Space Education Initiative in 2001, although we have made several design modifications from their construction directions.

Our Science Club made the first set of launchers for our science department, and has been a yearly project ever since.

Due to the popularity of the Rockets with students, we started a school wide rocket rally as part of the schools spring festivities.
